3 KIDNAPPERS NABBED AT UNIABUJA, AFTER RETURNING TO ABDUCT ANOTHER SET OF FEMALE STUDENTS

Tension has been high in the University Abuja Nigeria, following recent cases of abduction, theft and molestation, so on Friday, when students identified some men whom they alleged took some girls away, days before, they pounced on them and nearly killed them.
The men were eventually rescued by the school security but not after the students had set their car ablaze. According to a student of the school, Damilola, the alleged kidnappers had come to the school on Tuesday to pick up some ladies but the ladies never came back.
Another student, Mercy, explained that the same men returned on Friday night to pick up more girls but were identified and attacked by the students. “Two girls got an invitation to go out, from a hostel member, who is not a student, but was impersonating just to get girls kidnapped from the school,” Mercy added.
Two of the kidnappers were identified as Ifeanyi and Precious Okeke. According to PremiumTimes, the Chief Security Officer of the institution, Mr Solomon Ngbede, confirmed that the abducted students have been rescued.
“The students were kidnapped five days ago and the kidnappers confessed that they were the ones who picked them up so we went there in the company of the police and rescued the girls last night and they are with their parents now,” Mr Ngbede said.
“The kidnappers came back yesterday to pick another set of girls. They were two men and a lady. The students were able to recognise them, so we have the men and two girls in our custody,” he added.
